One of my first iterations of teapots ever and such a joy to create. This is a round teapot with a perfectly fitted lid that rests inside the gallery (lip that holds a lid in place just below the rim). The handle is pulled and attached to the body of the pot, placed to balance out the spout on the opposite side. The spout is made on the wheel, cut to fit and then fitted to cover the perforated tea strainer holes made in the body. Glazed by hand with a finish that echoes the traditional blue and white enamel camping cups.
